Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification

Introduction

CSSLP Certification is one of the available certifications from (ISC)2. CSSLP certification validates application security competency within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Overview of CSSLP certification

The CSSLP credential proves the proficiency of the candidates in:

  • Developing an application security program in your organization
  • Reducing production costs, application vulnerabilities and delivery delays
  • Enhancing the credibility of your organization and its development team
  • Reducing loss of revenue and reputation due to a breach resulting from insecure software

Requirements for CSSLP certification

CSSLP is for everyone involved in the SDLC with at least 4 years of cumulative paid full-time work experience in 1 or more of the 8 domains of the CSSLP CBK.

To obtain CISSP Certification, the following exam is to be taken:
